Installation from Source

1. Clone Repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/yourproject.git
cd yourproject

2. Install Dependencies

Python:

python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate
pip install -r requirements.txt

Node.js:

npm install

3. Configure Environment

Development:

# Python
python -m uvicorn main:app --reload --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8000

# Node.js
npm run dev

# Other
[Your application startup command]

Production:

# Python with Gunicorn
gunicorn -w 4 -b 0.0.0.0:8000 main:app

# Node.js with PM2
pm2 start index.js -i 4

6. Verify Installation

# Check API is running
curl http://localhost:8000/health

# Expected response:
# {"status": "healthy", "version": "1.0.0"}

# Check database connection
curl http://localhost:8000/api/health/db

# Expected response:
# {"database": "connected"}

Docker Deployment

Build Docker Image

docker build -t myapp:1.0.0 .

Run with Docker

docker run -d \
  --name myapp \
  -p 8000:8000 \
  -e DATABASE_URL=postgresql://user:pass@db:5432/myapp \
  -e REDIS_URL=redis://cache:6379 \
  -v /data:/app/data \
  myapp:1.0.0

Docker Compose

# Start all services
docker-compose up -d

# View logs
docker-compose logs -f app

# Stop services
docker-compose down

# Rebuild images
docker-compose build --no-cache
